In line with SHFC’s thrust to ensure quality in organizational performance, a two-day midyear planning session was conducted together with SHFC officials to discuss how it fared for the first semester of 2017 and develop catch up plans to attain unmet targets until the end of the year.
Planning Department Manager, Florencio R. Carandang, Jr. facilitated the activity which was attended by department heads and senior officers. Participants were grouped according to the balanced scorecard perspectives: Social Impact, Stakeholders, Finance, Internal Process, and Organization.
Each group was tasked to come up with strategies and activities that will help achieve the targets for 2017. This was followed by a presentation of outputs which all point to the need to strengthen organizational capacities and expand services to cover underserved areas.
SHFC President, Atty. Arnolfo Ricardo B. Cabling capped the activity by presenting the proposed organizational structure which will help SHFC to become more responsive to the needs of the underprivileged especially those outside of Metro Manila.
